About
The Biofeedback Art-Research-Practice Network, led by Anastasia Chernysheva (musicologist) and supported by Gray Area (San Francisco-based non-profit organization),1 is an international community of artists, scientists, and researchers exploring the intersection of biological data and artistic expression.
Our goal is to integrate cutting-edge biofeedback technology in artistic practices to push the boundaries of conventional art-making and to challenge traditional notions of the relationship between mind and body. The biofeedback art research practice network is an interdisciplinary community dedicated to advancing our understanding of the human experience and providing new insights into the potential of art as a tool for self-expression and self-discovery.

How to Join
Membership is free. To join our community, you must be an artist, researcher, or scholar working with biofeedback technology and/or writing about its applications in art and science. We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. To express your interest, email us a short description of your work and motivation to join.

Tech companies producing Brain-Computer Interfaces and/or other devices gathering physiological data of the human body. If you'd like to test your production with an artist or scientist, reach out to us.
